Director of the Cardio-oncology Program

University Hospitals, Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute and the Seidman Cancer Center, are seeking to hire an exceptional candidate at the Assistant/Associate Professor level with expertise in cardio-oncology to serve as the Director of the Cardio-oncology Program. The candidate should be BC/BE in cardiology, and have experience in cardio-oncology.

The Program, founded in 2013, cares for over 1,500 patients a year in close partnership with the Seidman Cancer Center, at three distinct sites within our integrated System. Our Program has published protocols, advanced echo and MRI capabilities, and a comprehensive clinical database. The Program is supported by an administrator, a clinical coordinator, and advanced practice providers and nurses.

The successful candidate will be expected to continue the Program’s growth in the outpatient and inpatient arena, accelerate its academic output, and continue to provide world-class service to the cancer patients of northeast Ohio and beyond. Funding is available for protected research time and other programmatic development. The Program director will be an outstanding clinician, with charisma and leadership presence who is a nationally recognized or upcoming clinical and academic leader in the field.
