The International Cardio-Oncology Society is a committed group of professionals throughout the world who are striving to protect the cardiovascular health of all patients who are undergoing cancer therapy.

Cardio-Oncology is the collaboration between oncologists, hematologists, and cardiologists to better serve patients with cancer.

Eliminating cardiovascular disease as a barrier to effective cancer treatment.

Globally, there are nearly 50 million cancer survivors as a result of advancements in cancer treatment. As evidenced by the growing number of survivors, cancer is now being recognized as a chronic disease.

With cancer and cardiovascular disease as the two most common causes of death worldwide, oncologists, hematologists, and cardiologists are teaming up to effectively and proactively treat cardiovascular toxicities for patients with cancer.
