JACC Appoints IC-OS Member Dr. Anju Nohria as Associate Editor to Drive Cardiovascular Innovation

The Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) recently announced the appointment of Dr. Anju Nohria, MD, MSc, as a new Associate Editor. Dr. Nohria brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for advancing cardiovascular health to this pivotal role.

A distinguished alumna of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Nohria holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. Her illustrious career includes residency and Chief residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital, CT, followed by specialized training in heart failure and transplantation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, MA.

As an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Nohria’s impact extends beyond academia. She serves as a faculty member in the advanced heart disease section at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and holds the esteemed position of Director of the cardio-oncology program at both Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, MA.

Dr. Nohria’s dedication to patient care and physician education is exemplified through her work in the cardio-oncology field. She is an active member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the International Cardio=Oncology Society and a regular contributor to IC-OS educational efforts. 

She has been a tireless advocate, educating patients and healthcare professionals about the adverse cardiovascular effects of cancer therapies. Her extensive contributions include speaking engagements at local and national meetings, as well as authoring review articles and book chapters on this critical topic.
