About Anita Arnold, MD, MBA



Dr. Arnold graduated the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Philadelphia as Chief Resident. Her basic and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship was at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. She has been involved in clinical trials and was founder and director of the Milwaukee Cardiovascular Research Foundation. One of the leaders in the field of Cardio-Oncology, she founded the Cardio-Oncology program as well as the C-O Transitional Clinic for adolescent cancer patients for Lee Health in Florida.

Dr. Arnold served on the American College of Cardiology Council for Cardio-Oncology and chaired the Advocacy working group. Currently on the Board of Directors for the International Cardio-Oncology Society she is a member of the education committee, survivorship group, and the ambassador program for new chapters. She is Certified in Cardio-Oncology and is a former Section editor for the Journal of Cardiology-Oncology and a reviewer for JACC Cardio-Oncology and American Heart Journal. She herself is a cancer survivor and has been active fundraising for Pancreatic cancer which has taken several family members and friends. She is working to expand Cardio-Oncology services for the most vulnerable populations, works with the Homeless Coalition, Habitat for Humanity and local food distribution services where she lives in Southwest Florida, USA.
