About Rocio Eiros Bachiller, MD, PhD
Rocio Eiros is a cardiology faculty at the University of Salamanca, Spain, with a focus in cardiomyopathies, cardio-oncology and cardiac imaging. Graduate in medicine and surgery from the University of Valladolid.
Dr. Eiros received her Medicine Degree and Bachelor of Surgery in 2013 at the Universtity of Valladolid, Spain. From 2013 to 2018, she completed a residency in cardiology and her PhD in the University of Navarra Spain. She completed her training in advanced cardiac imaging at Lenox Hill hospital, New York and Hackensack Hospital, New Jersey. She is certified by the EACVI Level 3 of TTE, CT and CMR.
Her clinical and research interests include better characterizing and understanding cardiovascular disease associated with cancer treatment, and the diagnosis of management of cardiac amyloidosis.
