About The Advocacy Working Group
The Advocacy Working Group partners with cardio-oncology patients to address barriers to care, optimize patient access, and provide helpful patient educational resources and support as they navigate their cancer treatment and beyond.
Recent Projects
- We surveyed providers in cardiology and oncology for current gaps and needs in patient education.
- We are developing patient education for different cancers and treatments. This education will be specialized for each particular cancer and will be available in major languages. Education material will take the form of websites, handouts and videos.
- We are working on a patient survey to better tailor our education materials to patient needs.
- We are developing a webinar related to the patient experience (July 25, 2024)
