About Brijesh Patel DO, FACC
Brijesh Patel DO is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and non-invasive Cardiologist at Indiana University School of Medicine. Brijesh is particularly passionate about cardio-oncology and AI-based innovative research and is dedicated to advancing these fields. He has published over 100 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania and served as chief resident during his residency at Ascension Providence Hospital. His strengths in problem-solving and his calm demeanor have contributed to his success in both academic and clinical roles. During his prior work at West Virginia University, Brijesh served as the Associate Program Director of the Cardiovascular fellowship, mentoring numerous undergraduates, graduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows. He has received recognition for his teaching. He remains deeply committed to teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
