About Eric Harrison, MD
Dr Harrison curates a high resolution three dimensional heart imaging database (coronary computed tomography angiogram or CCTA) of 5,000 cases and created the Sherlock Program for predicting cardiac prognosis based on plaque morphology, composition, and function to predict cardiac events. He started the company PrivaCors to develop this concept nationally with artificial intelligence. PrivaCors was chosen by IBM Watson Healthcare to join their 24 company collaborative to implement AI in medical imaging and EKGs. He co-founded the International Cardio-Oncology Society a 501 (3) (c) and promoted our Global International Meeting in Tampa last year and Brazil this year. He founded Cardio-Orthopaedics, a new subspecialty of cardiology to contain the cardiac risk of orthopaedic Total Joint Arthroplasty (TJA) surgery. This program in collaboration with Florida Orthopaedic Institution has resulted in presentation at the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA) in London last year and in Toronto this year.
