About Eric Oligino, MD

Dr. Eric Oligino is the System Director of Cardio-Oncology for Hartford HealthCare and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. After completing training in internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and cardiology fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine, he joined the faculty at Hartford Hospital in 2013. Recognizing the need for subspecialized cardiovascular care of cancer patients in the community, he developed a robust cardio-oncology program which accommodates over 1000 patient visits per year. He has helped optimize the approach to cardio- oncology across the system through multiple quality improvement initiatives and data analytic projects.
