About Jaroslaw Kepski M.D.
Dr. Jarosław Kępski is a 2012 Medical University of Lodz, Poland graduate. He completed specialization training in cardiology at the Świętokrzyskie Center of Cardiology in Kielce and the European Health Center in Otwock. Since 2016, he has been involved in cardiological care for patients with oncological diseases. He gained his knowledge and experience under the supervision of the leader of Polish cardio-oncology, prof. Sebastian Szmit. In 2020, he passed the National Cardiology Examination. He is a very active member of the International Society of Cardio-Oncology. He is a valuable speaker during mandatory cardiology training for cardiologists before the state examination in Poland.
From 2021, he heads the Echocardiography Laboratory at the Institute of Hematology and Transfusionology - a reference center for hematology in Poland. Since 2022, Dr. Jarosław Kępski has been working as a doctoral student and is implementing a doctoral project in the field of cardio-oncology under the scientific supervision of Prof. Szmit at the Cardio-Oncology Clinic, Department and Clinic of Hematology and Transfusionology of the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education. The title of his doctoral project is: "The role of echocardiography in the stratification of cardiovascular risk in patients undergoing hematological treatment and the Incidence of cardiotoxicity diagnosed according to the new definition of the International Society of Cardio-Oncology."
