About Joshua Levenson
Joshua Levenson, MD FACC is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr Levenson studied chemistry at Amherst College and then attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at University of Michigan Health System prior to returning to Pittsburgh for Cardiology Fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Upon joining faculty at UPMC in 2017, he has focused his clinical career on multimodality cardiac imaging and the emerging field of Cardio-Oncology. His academic time is also heavily invested in medical education with a special focused on quality and safety. He currently serves as Associate Director of the UPMC Cardiology Fellowship Program, co-Director of Noninvasive Cardiology at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, as well as the Director of UPMC’s Center for Cardio-Oncology. He was certified in Cardio-Oncology by the International Cardio-Oncology Society in 2021 and led the UPMC Center for Cardio-Oncology to Gold Status by ICOS in 2023.
