About Luis M Moura, MD, PhD, FASE, FASC, FESC
Consultant Cardiologist at the Hospital Lusíadas Porto (Affiliated Hospital of the University of Oporto). His clinical interests include heart failure, valvular heart
disease, cardio-oncology, including chemotherapy, cardiomyopathy and the cardiovascular complications of modern cancer therapies, Takotsubo syndrome and the effects of significant stress on the heart, and the development of novel therapeutics, including gene therapy for chronic heart failure.
He has worked since 2021 as a member of Imaging of WG of the International Cardiac-Oncology Society. He is a member of a multidisciplinary cardio-oncology team, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in cancer patients, and advanced cardiac imaging. He holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Imaging from the ESC, SCMR, and SCCT.
