About Massimiliano Camilli, MD, PhD
Dr Massimiliano Camilli works as a cardiologist at Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli in Rome. His main research and clinical focus are cardio-oncology, advanced cardiovascular imaging and heart failure. He also teaches and supports University Master's students in echocardiography.
Dr Camilli graduated at University Campus Biomedico in Rome in 2016 and then attended his residency in cardiology, as well as his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Research, at Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome. He continued his studies with a post-graduate degree in Heart Failure at the University of Zurich, focusing on cardio-oncology and cardiotoxicity.
Dr Camilli has many publications in peer-reviewed journals, focusing mainly on cardio-oncology, cardiovascular imaging and heart failure. He serves as reviewer for many well-known cardiology and internal medicine journals. He is a member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the Heart Failure Association of ESC and Italian Society of Cardiology. He is also a member of ESC Cardio-Oncology Council.
