IC-OS President Susan Dent Stresses The Importance of Cardio-Oncology at ASCO 2025
This past week, oncologists from around the world convened in Chicago for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)’s Annual Meeting, where they discussed the latest research and best practices on how to administer cancer care.
During the show, IC-OS President Susan Dent sat down with OncoXchange.org to discuss the sessions she was most excited about, including managing cardio-toxicity in youth and young adults, managing cardiotoxicity in new cancer treatments, and more.
Dr Dent also talked about the DESTINY-Breast09 Trial, the first trial in more than a decade to demonstrate a clinically meaningful improvement in outcomes for a broad group of patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer in the first-line setting.
