Dr. Anca Simona Tau is a senior cardiologist with over two decades of clinical experience and academic leadership, Assistant Professor at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. Her core expertise includes cardio-oncology, advanced cardiovascular imaging, and vascular medicine, with a dedicated interest in the management of cardiovascular complications in cancer patients and survivors.

Dr. Tau has served as principal investigator and co-investigator in several international clinical trials focusing on heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and cardiovascular safety in systemic diseases. Her specialized training at leading institutions in Belgium, France, and Italy has shaped her proficiency in contrast echocardiography, vascular Doppler, and myocardial perfusion imaging.

A regular speaker at national and international congresses she is actively involved in multidisciplinary care models, survivorship planning, and cardiovascular risk reduction in oncology.
