About Mohamed ElHarari, MRCP, FRCP, CCST UK
Dr. Mohamed ElHarari is a distinguished consultant cardiologist with extensive experience spanning over two decades across the UK, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
After graduating from Tripoli Medical School, Dr. ElHarari pursued postgraduate training in the UK, earning both the MRCP and FRCP designations. He completed his cardiology training in the North East of England and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialty Training (CCST) in cardiology in July 2001.
Dr. ElHarari began his consultant career at the University Hospital of North Durham, where he served for 15 years. In 2016, he moved to Saudi Arabia, holding a consultant cardiologist position at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Riyadh for two years.
In 2018, Dr. ElHarari transitioned to the UAE, joining Al Ain Hospital, where he established a pioneering multidisciplinary heart failure service. Since July 2020, he has been based at Tawam Hospital, where he successfully developed a new Heart Failure Clinic and multidisciplinary heart failure service.
Dr. ElHarari achieved the prestigious European Heart Failure Association (HFA) certification in heart failure in October 2023. He also served as Chair of the Heart Failure Group of the UAE from 2021 to 2024, driving advancements in heart failure care across the region.
A recognized leader in his field, Dr. ElHarari is a regular faculty member and sought-after speaker at prominent national, regional, and international cardiology conferences. His dedication to advancing cardiovascular care and his contributions to heart failure services have cemented his reputation as a leading expert in cardiology.
