About Raja Zaghlol, MD



Dr. Raja Zaghlol is currently completing an advanced fellowship in heart failure and transplant cardiology at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan before relocating to the United States, where he completed his internal medicine residency at Georgetown University/MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., serving as chief resident. Dr. Zaghlol then pursued his cardiology fellowship and additional subspecialty fellowship in cardio-oncology and cardiac amyloidosis at Washington University. Following the completion of his fellowship training, he will join the University of Kansas as a cardio-oncologist and heart failure specialist, where he will continue to pursue an academic clinician career. Dr. Zaghlol's research primarily focuses on utilizing large-scale databases to explore the impact of various cancers and cancer therapies on cardiovascular outcomes.
