Greetings from the heart of Moscow’s burgeoning Cardio-Oncology landscape! I am thrilled to share exciting developments from the Moscow City Cardio-Oncology center, marking a significant stride in our commitment to enhancing patient care and collaboration.

Expansion and Accessibility

In recent months, our center has expanded its footprint across Moscow, establishing cardiologist offices and implementing standardized operational procedures in three additional cancer care centers. This expansion means that Cardio-Oncologists are now accessible in five out of seven existing centers, ensuring more comprehensive care for cancer patients across the city.

Focused Care and Initiatives

Our mission extends beyond mere presence; we are dedicated to proactive care through multidisciplinary centers for high-risk patients and formalized follow-ups. Every patient facing cardiovascular toxicity can benefit from dedicated cardiology consultations, underscoring our commitment to holistic healthcare.

Future Projections

Looking ahead, our ambitions soar. By September, we plan to inaugurate two more offices, aiming to encompass all cancer patients covered under compulsory medical insurance in Moscow. With a target of 3,000 cardio-oncology appointments per month, we are poised to significantly impact patient outcomes through early intervention and specialized care.

International Collaboration and Research

Central to our vision is collaboration on a global scale. We are eager to engage with the International Cardio-Oncology Society (IC-OS), participating in registries, trials, and educational initiatives. Locally, our focus includes pioneering registry studies on cardiotoxicity among colorectal cancer and HER2-positive breast cancer patients, alongside a comprehensive study on cancer-associated thrombosis.

In closing, the Moscow City Cardio-Oncology center stands at the forefront of transforming cancer care in Russia. With a steadfast commitment to excellence, collaboration, and patient-centric innovation, we look forward to shaping a future where cancer patients receive the specialized care they deserve.
