About Alexandra Pons Riverola
Dr Alexandra Pons Riverola is a cardiologist from Barcelona, Spain, currently working as consultant cardiologist in the Cardio-Oncology and Community Heart Failure Service at Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge
Dr Pons obtained her medical degree from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, completing her clinical training at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. She trained in cardiology at Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, where she also did a fellowship in Heart Failure and Cardio-Oncology.
Following her training, she completed a one-year clinical fellowship in Cardio-Oncology at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. She has also performed a fellowship in Cardiac MRI at St Thomas’ Hospital.
