About Keval Vijay Patel, MD FACC
Dr. Keval V. Patel is a board-certified cardiologist and the Director of Cardio-Oncology at Monmouth Cardiology Associates. He completed his medical training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Rutgers–Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Dr. Patel is among the select physicians nationally who are board certified in Cardio-Oncology, in addition to certifications in general cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He specializes in the cardiovascular care of patients undergoing cancer therapy, with clinical interests that include cardio-oncology, preventive cardiology, heart failure, valvular and ischemic heart disease.
A committed educator and researcher, Dr. Patel has been recognized as a Top Doctor in New Jersey for multiple consecutive years. He serves as an attending physician at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Saint Peter’s University Hospital, Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, and Riverview Medical Center, and collaborates closely with Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Dr. Patel is currently seeing patients at the Somerset, Monroe, and Eatontown offices of Monmouth Cardiology Associates.
