About Susana Karina Farias Vergara, M.D.
I completed my training in Cardiology and Advanced Echocardiography at the IMSS UMAE Cardiology Hospital No. 34. Since 2020, I have been dedicated to the evaluation and management of cardiovascular toxicities in patients receiving chemotherapy and targeted therapies. My clinical work integrates cardiovascular imaging, biomarkers, and cardioprotective strategies to optimize outcomes. I am committed to advancing high-quality cardio-oncology care in my institution and seek ICOS certification to strengthen my expertise and contribution to this field.
