About Dinu-Valentin Balanescu, MD
Dr. Dinu Balanescu is chief cardiology fellow at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, with clinical and academic interests at the intersection of interventional cardiology, cardio-oncology, and pulmonary vascular disease. His research has focused on coronary disease in oncology populations, catheter-based therapies for pulmonary embolism, and expanding interventional approaches in high-risk patient cohorts. He has contributed to national educational and research efforts through roles with the American College of Cardiology, PERT Consortium, and CardioNerds.
