About Júlia Cristina Toste, MD
Clinical cardiologist specializing in Cardio-Oncology and advanced echocardiography. Currently I am the Coordinator of the Cardio-Oncology Study Group at the Portuguese Society of Cardiology. I do my practice at the Hospital da Luz in Lisbon. I play a role in developing national educational programs and I co-authored a position paper on Interventional Cardiology in Cancer patients, I contributed articles exploring the bidirectional association between cardiovascular disease and cancer and I made a review article about Different mechanisms of cardiovascular toxicity related to cancer treatments.
