About Juliane Dantas Seabra Garcez, MD

Dra. Juliane Seabra is a Cardiologist from Heart Institute (InCor) feom São Paulo University. Faculty member at Postgraduate Program in Cardio-Oncology at Med.IQ/Brazilian Clinical Research Institute (BCRI).

She is the Chair of the Cardio-Oncology service at Vitta Oncology Center and critical care cardiologist at Primavera Hospital in Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil.

Since 2022, she achieved an international certification in Cardio-Oncology from the IC-OS (International Cardio-Oncology Society) and join the Amyloidosis Work Group on IC-Os.

Cardio-oncology is a new, complex and growing area of ​​knowledge. Which brought a concrete perspective of improving the care of cancer patients, increasing their survival and quality of life. I feel honored to be part of the cardio-oncology development since 2015.
