About Edielle de Sant´ Anna Melo, MD, PhD
Edielle de Sant’Anna Melo, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist and cardio-oncologist at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo, Brazil, where she coordinates the Cardio-Oncology Fellowship Program. She also collaborates with the Heart Institute (InCor) of the University of São Paulo. Dr. Melo’s clinical and research interests focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular complications in patients undergoing cancer therapy, with particular expertise in anthracycline cardiotoxicity, cardiac imaging, and biomarkers. She is actively involved in academic mentoring, research projects, and international collaborations in the field of Cardio-Oncology.
