About Mukul Bhattarai, MD, MPH, FACP, FACC
Dr. Mukul Bhattarai is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he directs the Cardio-Oncology & Amyloid Clinic. He is board-certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT, and Cardio-Oncology (IC-OS). His clinical and research interests include chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity, transthyretin and light-chain cardiac amyloidosis, and cancer survivorship care. Dr. Bhattarai is actively involved in research, education, and program development to advance cardiovascular care for patients undergoing cancer therapy, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
