About Cho Han Chiang, MD, MMSc
Dr. Cho-Han Chiang is a third-year internal medicine resident at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He earned his medical degree in Taiwan and later pursued a Master’s in Clinical Investigation at Harvard Medical School, where he gained extensive training in clinical research and biostatistics. During his graduate studies, Dr. Chiang was involved in cardio-oncology projects investigating the cardiovascular side effects of immune checkpoint inhibitors and the potential of SGLT2 inhibitors to mitigate cardiovascular risks in cancer patients.
Dr. Chiang’s professional interests center on medical oncology, particularly cardio-oncology and cancer survivorship. His research focuses on identifying patients at risk for cancer therapy-associated cardiotoxicity and developing strategies to mitigate cardiovascular complications. Recent projects include evaluating the impact of GLP-1 receptor agonists on cardiovascular outcomes in cancer patients. Dr. Chiang aspires to build a career as a physician-scientist with a dedicated focus on advancing the field of cardio-oncology.
Outside of his clinical and research pursuits, Dr. Chiang enjoys traveling, discovering new cuisines, and staying active through running and hiking.
