IC-OS Nursing Work Group

Welcome To

IC-OS International Cardio-Oncology Society-Nursing

The International Cardio-Oncology Society-Nursing workgroup exists to advance the cardiovascular care of cancer patients and survivors by promoting the training and education of Cardio-Oncology nurses around the world.

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the International Cardio-Oncology Society (IC-OS) Nursing Research Committee, we are conducting a survey to assess the learning needs of nurses interested in Cardio-Oncology practice. As a RN providing care to Cardio-Oncology patients, you have been identified as an expert to identify the knowledge and skills that a nurse needs to be competent in Cardio-Oncology nursing. The insight obtained from the survey will help the IC-OS Nursing Researchers in designing an educational curriculum to develop a Cardio-Oncology Nursing Education (CONE) Program specifically tailored to the needs of Cardio-Oncology nursing. Participation is voluntary.

The link below will take you to the Participant Information Flier that describes the survey. The survey consists of answering multiple choice questions and will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Following the survey, you may choose to be redirected to the IC-OS mailing list website (optional).

Anecita Fadol PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, FHKAN, Associate Professor with a dual appointment in the Department of Nursing and Department of Cardiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, is the Principal Investigator of the study. If you have any questions or concerns about this email or the project, please contact Anecita Fadol at afadol@mdanderson.org or Valerie Shelton, Clinical Studies Coordinator, at vshelton@mdanderson.org.
